This is the book that launched a thousand welders. It goes through each stage of the build process, from sourcing the donor vehicle, what tools you will need, the various merits of each type of welding rig, how to build the chassis ( including the all important diagrams ). How to fabricate the bonnet etc, it isn't perfect . Judging by some other build diaries I have read, there are things that you only find out about when you try to do them. Overall I still think it's a good read and worth getting.......cost? around £16.99 ( $27 ) approx
Of course the ultimate question is... can you Build your own Sports car for as little as £250 ?....... we shall see.
